A New Volunteer in the Valley!There is a new volunteer program in the works called V.I.S.T.A.S. - which stands for Volunteers in Schools to Achieve Success that is modeled after programs in Bellevue and Issaquah School Districts that have similar volunteer efforts. This program is in collaboration with the Snoqualmie Valley Schools Foundation (SVSF), with pilot programs at Opstad Elementary and Twin Falls Middle School for the first year.
The Foundation will coordinate, with the intent to standardize, the initial volunteer training in 2010. The goal is to begin with reading support at the pilot schools, adding math the following year. | Community Partners:
