A New Volunteer Program is in the Works!
There is a brand new volunteer program in the works called V.I.S.T.A. which stands for Volunteers in Schools to Achieve Success that is modeled after programs in Bellevue and Issaquah that have similar volunteer efforts. This program is in collaboration with the Snoqualmie Valley Schools Foundation with pilot programs at Opstad Elementary and Twin Falls Middle School for the first year.
The foundation will spearhead the initial volunteer training. The goal is to being with reading support for next year at the pilot schools with the intention of adding math the following year.
